NME supports the Campaign to End Fistula. Obstetric fistula is a devastating childbirth injury that leaves women incontinent, ashamed & often isolated from their communities. Preventable and treatable, it is a condition no woman should have to endure. A global Campaign to End Fistula, led by UNFPA, is helping to prevent and treat fistula in more than 35 countries in Africa, Asia & the Arab region. NME is committed to raising awareness of obstetric fistula in the UK, & to supporting fund-raising activity.
