On
the basis of the information covered in your consultation, your trainer will
devise a personalised training programme that fits into your life & works
within your capabilities & circumstances. Your training programme will probably
include some combination of cardiovascular (aerobic) work, & resistance training
(using weights).
Your trainer will bring any equipment needed to conduct sessions from your
home, & may also recommend you purchase some items (such as a Fit Ball) to
enable you to follow your programme in your own time. However, at first, all
you need to buy are trainers & a good bra! Your programme may include power
walking or jogging, cycling, swimming, aerobics or boxing, as well as strengthening,
stretching & relaxation exercises. It may incorporate Pilates or yoga poses,
using techniques & positions to strengthen your core muscles & aid relaxation
& flexibility.
It goes without saying that we are able & willing to accommodate the needs
of mothers in our training sessions, & all our trainers are used to having
babies & / or toddlers present! Your No More Excuses programme & sessions
will be personalised to you, your lifestyle, your fitness & your likes and
dislikes, so that your sessions should always be effective, safe, challenging
& enjoyable!
